Due to business growth, we have an opportunity available for an experienced Supervisor (Project Coordinator) to join our WA team. The key focus of the Supervisor is to oversee and manage mechanical tasks in the Henderson and Rockingham area, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with our quality standards, delivering on the contractual requirements of our range of customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of all project-related matters, including mobilisation, site meetings, and solving project issues.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Supervise multiple mechanical tasks spreading across various sites each day.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Allocate resources and schedule works.
  • Resolve project issues and evaluate and implement improvement changes with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Motivate staff and ensure compliance with quality control procedures.
  • Initiate action to prevent non-conformance.
  • Quoting, task pack creation, resource allocation, timesheet submissions, task execution, and delivery.
  • Perform additional duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Cert 3 in Mechanical Fitting and 7-Years total experience.
  • At least 2 years of recent supervision experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, with exceptional communication and project management abilities.
  • Experience in using project management software and Microsoft suite.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and protocols with regards to WHS.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
