GCC is looking for two enthusiastic Compliance Officers to support our team. One position includes an exciting opportunity to contribute to Council’s Animal Management operations, by participating on the after hours on-call roster and conducting periodic animal patrolling.

About the Positions

Both roles are responsible for ensuring compliance with the State Laws and Council By-laws. A solid understanding of lawful parking practices in Tasmania, including the administration of the Traffic Act 1925, Traffic (Road Rules) Regulations 2019 is essential.

You will be responsible for conducting patrols and inspections, delivering excellent customer service, and issuing infringement notices. Additionally, you will promote and educate the community in lawful parking requirements, whilst contributing to the safety and parking availability of our community.

Other responsibilities include documenting your work actions efficiently, building relationships, and bringing a positive and fun attitude to our day-to-day team environment.

Position Hours: Full-Time, 75 hours fortnight.

Salary range: $62,305.92 to $68,442.09 plus 15% superannuation
