The opportunity:

Healthcare Logistics has a great opportunity for a Business Analyst to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for planning, monitoring and executing business analysis activities for many strategic IT projects within the business.

On a daily basis you will work closely with IT and Business Stakeholders to elicit and document business and system requirements efficiently and accurately as well as be the conduit between IT and the business. As such your superior communication and collaboration skills will be critical to your success.

What you will do:

  • Plan and document the business analysis approach, communication and activities for IT projects;
  • Monitor progress and adhere to timelines and quality standards;
  • Escalate risks and issues to the Business Managers and Project Managers as required;
  • Scope projects and gather information to ensure realistic timeframes and guidelines;
  • Elicit, develop and document stakeholder and solution requirements that facilitate successful solution development ensuring compliance with traceability standards;
  • Organise, facilitate and minute effective and structured meetings;
  • Ensure solutions requirements are reviewed, validated and approved by peers and the project team;
  • Prioritise, organise, specify and model requirements using various techniques;
  • Effectively manage changes to requirements using agreed processes;
  • Assess proposed functional solutions to determine which solution best fits the business need, identify gaps and shortcomings in solutions, and determine necessary workarounds or changes to the solution;
  • Co-ordinate and conduct testing with business stakeholders to facilitate and support system, integration, business validation testing;
  • Project follow up to ensure timelines, costs and outcomes are achieved as per the project scope;
  • Ensure successful closure of appropriate projects.

What we are looking for :

  • Prior experience working in a similar role within a 3PL business;
  • Proficient documentation skills;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills;
  • SAP Programming experience;
  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP and the operational requirements of a logistics business.
