Who we are looking for
We have a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to join our Asset Planning team in a full-time ongoing position in our Warrnambool office.
We're looking for someone to assist in the forward planning and system performance reviews of our water and sewerage systems. A key concept of the role is to provide expert advice to internal stakeholders, business leads, consultants, developers and other professionals in the waer and sewerage infrastructure sector.
This position comes with a generous salary of $96,568 to $107,722 p.a. plus superannuation.
Job DescriptionWhat you'll be doing
On a day-to-day basis, you'll:
- Review the performance of our systems and recommend improvements to include in our strategic and action plans, including adapting to climate change impacts.
- Provide technical support adn information adapting to cutomers, consultant, property developers and agency partners.
- Create and update existing computer simulation models of water and sewerage systems.
- Prepare budget estimates of works and business cases to include in our capital investment plan.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone with
- Qualifications in engineering (degree or equivalent).
- High organisational skills, an analytical approach, and the ability to visualise and strive for innovative solutions.
- Strong experience in water and sewerage planning, design and development is desirable.
- Experience using software packages including AutoCAD, Infoworks and eWater Source is desirable.
- High-level documentation and reporting skills.
