*This role has exclusively been listed with Legal People*This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced Personal Injury Legal Assistant to join this reputable and well established boutique law firm based in West Melbourne.
In this role, you will support a friendly Lawyer and some of your duties will include;
- opening new files
- editing & amending legal documents
- preparing court documents
- mail collection and distribution
- monthly preparation of client bills
- attending to photocopying, scanning and sorting documents and correspondence for the team
- answering overflow telephone calls for the team
- liaising with clients and other parties
- archiving and closing of files and
- other general administrative duties as required to assist the team
To be considered, you must have previous experience as a Legal Assistant with Personal Injury Law matters, a good understanding of MS Office; excellent organisation and communication skills and want to work as part of a team.
You will also have a friendly, flexible team attitude, an obliging manner and a genuine willingness to learn.
