What you'll be doing
The role of the Administration Officer is to provide high quality administrative support for NDIS supports and services delivered at Sydney Children's Hospital Network (SCHN) across Randwick and Westmead.This role will be responsible for managing the administrative components of the NDIS within Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.This includes managing relevant paperwork and associated billing, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the planning and development of NDIS related services at SCHN.
  • Demonstrated high level experience in administrative support, within a customer service or clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and a professional approach to dealing with staff, patients and families.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision, take initiative when working in a busy environment and problem solve effectively.
  • Ability to investigate or evaluate legislation, regulations, instructions or procedural guidelines relevant to the tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including use of Microsoft Office programs and ideally experience using NSW Health systems.
  • Experience with the NDIS is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to write reports, documents and draft complex correspondence for Government agencies, accurately and clearly.
