The Position
The Manager Asset Sustainability role leads the delivery of the Sustainability and ESG framework, and other Natural Capital works streams across GAP platforms. GAPs Sustainability framework (Asset Sustainability Plans or ASPs) is ambitious and includes whole-of-life cycle sustainability target-setting, measurement and reporting. The role will work closely with the asset management and on-farm teams and will have a significant impact on sustainability practices from on-farm planning to data collection coordination, data analysis, systems improvement, and reporting.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Sustainability & ESG Framework: Lead the development, implementation, and reporting of sustainability frameworks, asset plans, and ESG initiatives while mentoring teams on best practices.
- Analysis & Reporting: Conduct data analysis, modelling, and business intelligence reporting to support farm management, sustainability projects, and near real-time reporting.
- Data Management: Manage sustainability databases, GIS systems, and organisation-wide business intelligence tools to support investor reporting and operational planning.
- Compliance & Control: Ensure timely accounting, reporting, and accurate record-keeping for all sustainability activities.
- External Liaison: Represent the company at sustainability events and investor meetings while coordinating with external service providers.
- Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and innovation in sustainability management and reporting.
The Candidate
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or similar.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of agricultural production, sustainability practices and environmental management.
- Experience in environmental monitoring, agriculture asset management, sustainability, natural capital, or related fields.
- Expertise in data modelling, commercial analysis, and reporting systems including business intelligence reporting.
- High level of attention to detail and accustomed to scientific methodology and rigour.
- High level proficiency in the Microsoft office suite including MS Excel.
- GIS experience preferred or the ability to rapidly acquire GIS skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Strong team orientation and the ability to work with and through others to achieve results.
- Current driver’s licence and ability to undertake frequent travel throughout Australia.

- Wollemi Farms: investing in permanent crop assets such as macadamias, avocados, and stone fruit across the eastern seaboard of Australia. The operating entity established in 2021 is Wollemi Farms Pty Ltd.
- Transforming Farming : mixed farming enterprises, which includes the development of natural assets such as carbon sequestration and biodiversity. The operating entity established in 2021 is Faulkner Farming Pty Ltd.
- Wilga Farming (Australia): mixed farming enterprises, which includes the development of natural assets such as carbon sequestration and biodiversity. The operating entity established in 2023 is Wilga Farming (Australia) Pty Ltd.
As the dedicated investment manager Gunn Agri Partners has oversight of the operating platforms and the employees within those organisations.

The role is available to be based at our offices in Sydney or Albury offices although for the right candidate we would be open to discussing other regional locations. There will be a requirement to travel to the farms and the support offices from time to time.
An attractive salary package will be negotiable with the successful candidate based on experience and qualifications. Flexibility of hours will be offered. The opportunity to undertake further studies will be supported.
