About the role
Because of their immense growth in their Machine Learning and Data Science portfolio, an exciting opportunity has come up in one of their offices in Sydney. You will be joining their elite team and playing a key role in designing, building and operating Machine Learning solutions, working closely with various stakeholders (business and technical) to help execute their data science and machine learning strategy as they embark this journey in machine learning.
Skill Sets
You need to have the following skill sets to excel in this role:
- Strong previous experience in Data (Data Engineering, Data Science or Analysis).
- 5+ years experience as a data engineer in an agile devops environment using an object-oriented development language (Java, Python)
- Able to implement MLOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated experience in deploying, monitoring and retraining machine learning models in the production environment
- Experience working with real time and batch machine learning models.
- Demonstrated proficiency using cloud technologies and integrating with ML services including GCP Vertex AI, DataRobot or AWS SageMaker in large and complex organisations and experience with SQL and Python environments.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Involved in the deployment, productionisation and maintenance of Machine learning pipelines
- Work closely with various stakeholders of various business units to service their requirements.
- Involved in building the platform and pipeline for the data scientists to develop their models.
- End-to-end ownership for the entire lifecycle of the models
- Involved in checking the drifting of the model from blueprint to deployment.
- Work closely with data engineers and data scientists.
