About The Role:
The purpose of the position is to answer incoming and outgoing calls within a hospital environment and perform paging of emergency types for e.g. cardiac arrest and trauma or Security Requests.
In addition, this role is required to perform clerical duties and provide an effective, efficient, timely and courteous service to patients, visitors and staff.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:
Experience in the operation of hospital switchboards and paging systems.Demonstrated experience assisting the staff and clients in a high-volume environment with the ability to provide assistance in a polite, clear, well-spoken and calm manner in all circumstances.
About The Role:
In this role you will be working as a Telephonist on the switchboard at Singleton Hospital in a dynamic position where each day brings new challenges and experiences. The switchboard is located within the Reception Desk, at the Emergency Department and is the main point of contact for the hospital staff, visitors, patients and families. The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 07.30 – 16.30 with a 60 min break.
