About the role
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Freight Loader to join our team at Blacks Transport (Qld) Pty Ltd in Park Ridge, Queensland. This is a casual role that will involve loading and unloading freight trucks in a road transport environment.
What you'll be doing
- Safely load and unload freight from vehicles according to instructions
- Ensure freight is stacked and secured properly to prevent damage
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all safety procedures and policies
- Assist with other general warehouse and logistics duties as required
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in general freight loading (ESSENTIAL)
- Forklift licence (ESSENTIAL)
- Good physical fitness and strength to handle heavy loads
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Strong safety focus and commitment to following procedures
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
