Service Officer (Aps3)

Australian Financial Security Authority
Dubbo Full-day Full-time

Description:

About the role

We are looking for client-centric customer service professionals to work in our centralised hub, the AFSA Service Centre (ASC), to action our incoming emails and phone calls from our internal and external stakeholders and clients yielding requests around bankruptcy administration and debt agreements.

This role requires you to respond promptly to client enquiries through our service delivery channels and ensure the provision of accurate and timely information. You will assess client applications and process documents in alignment with relevant policies and guidelines and will work with professionalism to meet client needs, aiming for first-contact resolution while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

To be successful in this role, you will have desirable experience operating with sensitivity to aid individuals navigating extenuating circumstances. Integrity and attention to detail are paramount to perform in this role, while adaptability and resilience are also necessary. Successful applicants will also strive to achieve both individual key performance indicators and collective team objectives.

What we offer

We are a workplace committed to providing an environment that values diversity and supports staff to reach their full potential, and encourage applications from Indigenous Australians, people from culturally diverse backgrounds and people with disability.

AFSA offers a competitive salary plus generous superannuation with employer contributions of 15.4%. We encourage every employee to balance their family commitments and personal interests with flexible working options.

Eligibility

You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for employment with AFSA and be willing to undergo and maintain a security clearance to the level of Baseline Vetting as a condition of employment.

To satisfy character requirements all prospective AFSA employees must undergo a police records check. Where a person has received a redundancy benefit from APS agency employment and their corresponding redundancy benefit period has not expired, they may be ineligible for employment.

A merit pool of suitable candidates may be established and used to fill similar vacancies either on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis.
