You will have history of interior design specialising in custom made curtains / blinds and have demonstrated a high desire to achieve results not only for your personal gain, but for a greater purpose. Moreover, you must be willing to grow and move out of your own comfort zone (in a positive way).
Your previous experience as an Interior Design or window furnishing Sales Consultant will be clearly evident in your CV and will demonstrate your ability to be autonomous in a role, you are 1) influential 2) organised. Time management and prioritisation along with displaying a strategic approach to reach sales goals is a must. You will exhibit problem solving skills and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally with ease. You have a high level of computer competency with a good understanding and experience in using Microsoft Excel.
You must have a current driver’s licence and access to a car.

The work schedule is flexible; we can schedule your appointments between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Outside of these hours, you have the option to work from home.

THE BUSINESS & ROLE:
Miss Curtain is an innovative curtain design company based in Brisbane & Gold Coast. We seek an outstanding sales professional to join our team and drive sales growth in the Brisbane & Gold Coast markets by promoting custom curtains & blinds designs in the region and a high level of client service. You will be responsible for developing enduring relationships with key customers and driving growth in the region.
As the window furnishing Sales Consultant, your role will include but certainly not be limited to:
- To provide quality specialist technical advice and sales support backup to our customers who are currently purchasing or being introduced to our high-quality products and services.
- Accurately measure and input data into our system to generate quotations.
- Seek out and develop your own client base from commercial projects or residential customers, and manage our sales process on a local level.
- Serve as the bridge between our customers and the company, ensuring seamless project management while resolving customer concerns proactively and positively.
- To be the ‘visible face’ of our company and the prime contact to our existing and new customers in the first instance.
- The nature of the role requires travel in the region.
