We are excited to represent this client again for this unique opportunity for an Executive Chef on the Gold Coast. The role will oversee two modern Asian-inspired restaurants—one a renowned, award-winning dining destination about to undergo an exciting transformation, and the other a brand-new concept in one of the region’s thriving foodie hubs.
This original venue just goes from strength to strength and is now one of the most awarded restaurants on the Gold Coast, with modern Asian cuisine and an impressive wine list. It’s about to go through a significant tranformation with an complete renovation and extension.
The brand new restaurant will be a fresh, sassy younger sibling of the two, offering something a bit more playful and the chance to be super creative.
Owned by a genuine hospitality family, who live and breathe the industry, passing on all their strong values and professionalism to their friendly and service driven team.
About The Opportunity
You’ll be working with the current Head Chef and team to help re-open the current venue once renovations are finished while also launching the opening of the brand new restaurant.
You’ll be given autonomy to create your own menus, sourcing from chosen suppliers in kitchen’s that are effecitvely brand new.
The chance to take on a more senior role of overseeing two businesses and passing on your expertise, while also remaining hands on.
About You
Previous experience in Modern Asian cuisineCreative with menu designEffective with food costing and managing a kitchen budgetKnows how to mentor or train kitchen staff – the team are young so need some strong leadership and guidance.Leads by example and takes chargeIs calm and organised in a high volume and busy environmentDetermined to cement their reputation with one of the Gold Coast’s most distinguished operators.
