About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide management and operational supervision for a small team of Health Practitioner, Professional and Administrative Officers to deliver regulatory and legislative compliant Clinical Research Coordination, Clinical Data Management and Quality Improvement & Patient Safety services to stakeholders and customers of Queensland Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide leadership in the professional development of staff within a small team, facilitating training and performing their performance management.
Make a key contribution to clinical research activities within the work unit that have demonstrable research outcomes. from inception to publication (assist in protocol development, data plans, Human Research Ethics and Governance requirements, data extraction and cleaning).
Deliver high-level clinical data management for clinical research (which may include clinical trials, prospective studies, retrospective research, and quality assurance) within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
Maintain Data in accordance with relevant requirements including data quality and integrity (accuracy, validity, reliability, timeliness, relevancy and completeness), security, consistency, privacy, confidentiality, storage, archival and accessibility.
