CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Enzed Cairns are looking for a competent, reliable storeman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation of the store and will involve working overtime as required including Saturdays. The role is based in Cairns with ongoing training provided in store.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of two years in a similar field
- Must have forklift and driver’s license
- Some basic hydraulic knowledge preferred
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Receive all incoming freight and process as necessary
- Pick up parts from local suppliers as required
- Dispatch all outgoing freight
- Fill Weipa POD and keep a record of contents
- Deliveries to customers as required
- Keep records of all incoming and outgoing freight
- Obtain quotes for freight as required
- Match paperwork from incoming freight to purchase orders and provide to administration office for processing
- Add parts to work orders where necessary for shop and hose doctors
- Enter supplier invoices for “buy-in” parts
- Stock replenishment – put stock parts away
- Transfer parts internally to hose doctor locations
- Operate forklift
- Requisition parts to be ordered for customers and stock
- Clean dispatch area and back shed as directed
