About the role:
The ICT Service Desk Lead is responsible to the Manager, ICT Support Services and plans, executes and monitors the delivery of high quality and customer centric ICT Service Desk functions to all Department for Education sites.
The ICT Service Desk Lead coordinates and evaluates a range of first level ICT support functions and resources, within an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) environment to ensure that outcomes and deliverables successfully meet the departments requirements. This includes ensuring workloads are managed and monitored, knowledge is robust, relevant and of value to customers.
The role leads the operational requirements of work received by the Service Desk, identifies, evaluates and implements improvements in Service Desk operations and manages performance matters, gaps and potential risks to service provision.
Qualifications:
Essential: Nil
Desirable: A tertiary qualification in an ICT related discipline or equivalent experience. ITIL V4 Foundations.
Special conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO7 $108,109 - 116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
