About Wagaman Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)
Wagaman OSHC provides a nurturing and engaging environment for school-aged children. Located at Wagaman Primary School, the centre offers a variety of educational and fun activities, ensuring all children feel welcome and valued. Our inclusive program focuses on developing lifelong skills and knowledge, with strong collaboration with families and the community.
About the Role
We are currently looking for experienced OSHC Educators to join the Wagaman team on a Casual (as required) basis. This is service operates after school hours care Monday to Friday, with vacation care provided during term holidays.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with families.
- Use families' knowledge to help children's learning.
- Build trust and respect with other educators.
- Share knowledge and support team strengths and diversity.
What You Need
- Experience working in OSHC services desirable but not essential
- Experience working with Children
- Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent according to ACECQA
- Desire for ongoing professional development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid OCHRE Card
