Luna Services is a specialised Building Management Company with a focus on preserving the facilities and assets within a residential or commercial building while nurturing a meaningful community. This opportunity comes in response to increased demand for our services and thus we are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team.
The Role: Full-time Operations Manager
Key accountability:
  • Oversee and improve daily operations across various departments.
  • Ensure management and clients are provided with all relevant information and trading data as required.
  • Develop and implement efficient operational processes to optimize workflow
  • Identify operational risks and enhance controls to ensure they are mitigated.
  • Improve overall operational efficiency by enhancing operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Reviews trade orders to ensure their accuracy, proper record keeping, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Onboarding of new customers and preparing and reviewing documentation.
  • Ongoing account and client updates, maintaining and making adjustments.
  • Facilitating the movement of funds, including domestic and international payments
  • Regularly engage with various stakeholders in both the front office and clearing teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and financial planning for operational activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and support teams to enhance productivity and engagement.
  • Coordinate with other departments to align business strategies.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.
Your skills and experience
  • Bachelor qualification
  • At least 1 year or more successful experience in Operations Management
  • Ability to thrive and perform under pressure in an intense environment; multi-tasking is a given.
  • Hold the utmost ethics as regards treating customers fairly and honesty.
  • A strong analytical mind, numerical skills, intellectual curiosity, a ‘self-starter’ attitude and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Technical skills in trading, execution and reporting of transactions.
To be successful in this position, you will have a passion for delivering a client-centric approach to work, whilst enhancing the efficiencies of the broader team. You will possess a solution focused mindset with the ability to innovate in order to maximise operational capacity. With a high attention to detail and a willingness to learn, you will have the ability to work in a team environment and build strong working relationships with your peers and clients.
Salary: 80K to 120K
