About the Role
As an IT Security Analyst, you will be involved in the day-to-day administration, enhancement, and implementation of security controls. You will respond to security incidents, contribute to audits, and help strengthen cyber defences across the organisation. This is an excellent chance to gain experience in threat detection, penetration testing, compliance, and security awareness training.

  • Assist in maintaining and managing IT security controls across networks, cloud platforms, and endpoints.
  • Investigate security alerts and respond to incidents in real time.
  • Support security audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.
  • Contribute to security awareness training and user education programmes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to improve security processes and automation.
  • Assist in policy development, documentation, and best practice implementation.
What We’re Looking For
  • A strong aptitude for problem-solving, quick thinking, and applying common sense to security challenges.
  • A keen interest in cybersecurity, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Familiarity with IT security concepts such as threat hunting, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Basic understanding of security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or ACSC Essential Eight (preferred but not essential).
  • Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a bonus but not required.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a willingness to take on new challenges.
Why Join Us?
  • A unique hands-on opportunity to gain valuable cybersecurity experience.
  • A supportive and dynamic team where you can develop your skills.
  • Exposure to real-world security challenges in a fast-moving environment.
  • The potential for future career growth within cybersecurity and IT security.
Apply Now If you are ready to kickstart your IT security career and gain invaluable experience in a purpose-driven organisation, we would love to hear from you.
