Description:
CELOTTI WORKFORCE are looking for a dedicated Fitter/Machinist to join our client's team. The role will involve working in our workshop and performing various tasks related to the assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of equipment, with a focus on new dredging equipment.Key Responsibilities
- Operation of TIG, MIG & Stick welding equipment associated with basic welding repair of mechanical equipment.
- Operation of lathes and other machining equipment for the manufacture and repair of mechanical equipment.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for maintenance and repair
- Work with hydraulic systems and components
- Perform machining tasks as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Follow all relevant safety procedures and guidelines
- Maintaining a safe clean workshop and job site
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Trade Qualified
- Proven experience as a Fitter/Machinist
- Be physically fit and have a strong work ethic
- Own transport to site
- Weekly pay - $58.66 p/hr.
- Ongoing role
- Immediate start
- Monday - Friday 9.5 hours a day
- Work with a reputable company on a major project
