Qualified Chefs-Hotel Venue-Remote Coastal Northern TerritoryWe are seeking Qualified Chefs for this busy venue located in Coastal Northern Territory.
The roles would suit Chefs skilled in bistro and a la carte meal preparation with a flair for presentation and experience with functions and special events.
There is work available for a partner in the Restaurant & Bar.
You will work with a great team of chefs producing quality meals for in house guests, locals and visitors to the region.
Outside of work enjoy the Northern Territory lifestyle, beautiful tropical weather. Enjoy mixing with a friendly local community, relax on the beach or enjoy some local fishing.
This is a family owned venue offering onsite dining facilities, bars and accommodation.
Pay Details
Level 3 - HIGA AWARD
$32.25 per hour Mon-Fri
$38.70 Saturday
$45.15 Sunday
Casual Role - Can lead to full time-Higher positions may be offered to highly qualified candidates
Accommodation $150 per week-Own Room
Accommodation $100 per week-Share Room
Accommodation is located in a two bedroom self contained unit
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A CURRENT FOOD HANDLERS CERTIFICATE OR BE WILLING TO OBTAIN ONE.
MUST BE FAST PACED ON THE PANS AND GRILL

Duties:
· Prep and cooking of bistro & a la carte meals (2 outlets)
· Breakfast / Lunch or dinner shifts
· Preparation & cooking for functions and special events
· Working under the head chef with a team of chefs & kitchen hands
· Maintaining a clean kitchen environment
· Working as part of a team
Other Details:
- Access via Daily flights from Darwin or Cairns
- Telstra Mobile coverage available
- 4WD Roads Only
