JJ Care Services is a leading boutique provider of essential homecare and disability support services as well as supported living and short term accommodation and residential respite services within our large centre, based in Gymea Bay. We offer services from Avalon down to Kiama including several contracts and agreements with other organisations to provide exemplary services on their behalf.
Due to rapid growth, we are currently urgently seeking friendly and dedicated individuals to join our team of fabulous support workers.
About the Role
A day in the life of one of our support superstars may including helping our clients with personal care including toileting and showering, domestic assistance such as laundry, ironing, light housekeeping and meal preparation, community access and outings, transport and escorting to appointments, providing in home care or sleepover support.
Our diverse range of clients require an individualised and person centred approach to their supports, and support workers will be required to adapt their approach to suit each individual client.
Our clients receive services around the clock, so a typical day may be a typical night! We have shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our support superstars are at the forefront of the business, and therefore, we are looking for the very brightest stars to join our team.

About You
We are looking for passionate, motivated and hard working individuals that want to make a genuine difference in the lives of others, and have an understanding of homecare and what the role involves. We operate a number of services and this role is exclusively for our home and community care team only.
To be successful, you must have:
- At least 6-12 months experience as a support worker or Assistant in Nursing
- Experience with disability services, younger onset dementia, or aged care
- Outstanding written documentation skills including fluent english skills
- Strong use of initiative whilst adhering to policies and procedures where required. We need a self starter that identifies what needs to be done, and gets it done.
- Strong Work Ethic and dedication to learning, both on the job and through specialised resources designed for this environment
- Valid National Criminal History Check
- Working with Children Check (for Paid Work)
- Valid Drivers License and a Comprehensively insured car
- At least 4 days per week availability
