What about the role?
We're always interested in talking to people who are passionate about supply chain and all that it encompasses. For this particular role, you will have exposure to handling all manner of products from small fast moving consumer goods, through to complete vehicle handling. Ideally you will have some exposure to the following:
- Working within 3PL warehousing environment
- Experience loading/unloading trucks
- A valid forklift license enabling you to operate forklifts (Bendi + LO Preferred) and stock pickers
- Experience in loading/unloading containerised vehicles
- Experience using a WMS and RF Guns
- Lifting heavy objects
- Working towards high safety standards
- A willingness to be part of a positive team environment (and enjoy it!)
What will you do each day?
Each day can be a little different in a transport environment. You might find yourself engaging in the following activities:
- Picking and packing cargo of various shapes and sizes
- Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Packing/unpacking containerised vehicles
- Performing inventory checks
- Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse
- Communication with the warehouse and freight teams
- Following all safety procedures and guidelines
