Your new role
Under the supervision of the State Manager, the Senior Branch Manager assumes accountability for the day-to-day operations of the branches within their designated region. This encompasses overseeing the upkeep of the fleet and branch personnel, managing job transactions such as collection and delivery for clients, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. As an integral member of the State Management team, you collaborate closely with the Senior Territory Manager in fostering a unified and harmonious team ethos within the region.
In addition to serving as a role model for other Branch Managers in the area, you are entrusted with delivering exemplary customer service to both internal stakeholders and external business partners.
What you'll need to succeed
- 2+ years’ experience within a rental vehicle or fleet organization.
- 3+ years’ experience in a customer service role with exceptional customer service skills
- Strong Leadership and communication skills
- Able to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask.
- Provide training and support to the team
- Drive efficiencies through the rollout of strategic and innovative plans
- Understand location needs using sales/hire reports and assessing departmental results, to create specific actions directly related to business development and growth, consistently across all allocated locations.
- An understanding of logistics within the motor trade, including spare parts/smash repair/dealerships would be an advantage, but not a requirement.
