About The Centre
Thrive Mount Druitt, located in Western Sydney is our purpose-built centre licensed to cater for up to 75 children per day.
The leadership team values the importance of a healthy work/life balance which is shown through their effective teamwork in sharing responsibilities.
The team in Mount Druitt have on going support from their Centre Leader, Assistant Centre Leader, and Educational Leader who provide adequate programming time and encourage all educators to contribute.
You will be joining a dedicated and supportive team where your ideas, input and voice is not only heard but welcomed and encouraged!
About The Role
We are now looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to join the team and lead the preschool room of up to 30 children per day.
We are looking for a professional with experience in programming and the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families and educators.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Have sound knowledge of and demonstrate high-quality practice in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Work in positive collaboration with all members of the team.
- Maintain effective communication with parents/carers.
- Actively contribute to the educational program through conversations, observations, and documentation
The successful candidate will have:
- An Early Childhood Teaching degree
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- A current NSW Employee Working With Children Check
- Sound and practical working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Standard (NQS)
