Summary:
The Hotel Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing excellent customer service to hotel guests by welcoming and accommodating on arrival. They are the first point of contact for guests and play a vital role in ensuring a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide necessary information and assistance
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accurate completion of paperwork and procedures
- Issue room keys to guests and ensure procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality
- Answer and handle phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from guests and other departments
- Use computer systems to manage guest accounts and reservations, and maintain accurate records
- Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with basic housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and organised front desk area
- Upsell hotel services and amenities to guests
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests, coworkers, and management
- Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with computer systems and software, such as POS systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience in the hospitality industry or similar customer service role preferred, but not essential
- Available to work on a 7-day rotating roster
- Fluency in Korean is a plus, but not essential
