Castle Hill Medical Centre provides comprehensive services to the Hills area and surrounding districts. The practice has 25 GP’s, a large nursing department, a generous patient services team, X-ray facilities, pathology, and many multidisciplinary team members.
About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient and well presented Patient Services Administrator to join our Patient Services Team on a permanent part time basis. You will be required to work Mondays from 3pm to 6.30pm and Fridays from 1pm to 8pm.
Who are you?
You will be efficient, hardworking, reliable and committed to providing exceptional customer service to all patients. Previous experience in a medical centre as a receptionist or as a Ward Clerk using Best Practice software is desirable.
You will need:
Certificate in Administration or equivalent experience
Accurate typing
Capacity to utilise relevant computer software i.e Best Practice, Clock On
Experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook
Current knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
Excellent planning and organising skills
Ability to effectively prioritise
Ability to problem solve
High attention to detail and accuracy
Flexibility and adaptability
Strong customer service skills
A teamwork focus and approach
Commitment to patient confidentiality
