We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lending Manager to join our dynamic team. Come and join Mortgageport (part of the BC Invest Group)! We are looking for Lending Managers to join the lending teams, in the offices in Melbourne & Sydney.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve settlement targets as well as measures for application quality, client satisfaction & discharge rates.
- Identify, develop and maintain strategic alliances with referral partners.
- Provide a positive example and develop a culture where the attitude and behaviors align with Mortgageport values
- Meet the spirit and letter of regulatory and business compliance requirements, including NCCP.
- Identify and understand customer goals and objectives using effective questioning techniques.
- Develop an expert understanding of products, policies and processes to provide high quality guidance and advice to customers.
- Respond and resolve client queries in a timely and effective manner.
- Being visible in the local community by participating in community engagements and business development events
Ideally, we are looking for someone with:-

- Able to develop sales opportunities through their own network of customers and referral partners.
- Proven ability to manage a customer relationship throughout the sales cycle.

- Skilled at problem-solving to deliver positive outcomes for customers and the business.
- Skilled negotiator with the ability to resolve conflicts or complaints in a constructive manner.
- An ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Skilled at business development with a view to creating more opportunities to help more customers.
