A Day in the Life

As a key leader in MyState’s digital transformation, you drive the strategy and execution of cutting-edge digital banking experiences. You work closely with executives, technology teams, and fintech partners to shape the future of MyState’s mobile and online banking, ensuring every digital interaction is seamless, secure, and customer focused.

Your role is a blend of big-picture thinking and hands-on execution, one moment, you’re refining the digital roadmap to prioritise innovation and growth, the next, you’re deep in discussions with designers and developers, ensuring new features meet customer needs. You navigate regulatory requirements, risk considerations, and emerging trends, balancing compliance with forward-thinking digital solutions.

You thrive on collaboration and problem-solving, whether it’s integrating a new payment technology, analysing adoption metrics to optimise engagement, or influencing key stakeholders to support the next phase of digital banking evolution.


What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in digital banking leadership, ideally within financial services, fintech, or banking.
  • Expertise in digital product management, UX/UI design principles, agile methodologies, and innovation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of emerging fintech trends, open banking, payments, and digital transformation.
  • Ability to drive digital adoption strategies and optimise customer journeys through data and insights.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills, with experience influencing C-suite and executive teams.
  • Experience with cybersecurity, compliance, and regulatory requirements in digital banking.
  • A passion for innovation, customer experience, and digital excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the digital banking strategy by developing and leading a roadmap that enhances mobile and online banking experiences, aligning with MyState Bank’s broader strategic objectives.
  • Drive innovation and customer-centricity by identifying emerging trends, fintech partnerships, and new technologies to keep MyState Bank at the forefront of digital banking.
  • Lead digital product development through the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to delivery and continuous optimisation.
  • Enhance digital customer experience by improving usability, accessibility, and security to drive engagement and satisfaction.
  • Manage stakeholders and vendors, collaborating with senior executives, technology teams, external vendors, and fintech partners to deliver best-in-class digital banking solutions.
  • Ensure compliance and risk management, maintaining adherence to AML, CTF, cybersecurity, and data privacy regulations while driving operational efficiencies.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure performance, optimize digital experiences, and drive business growth.
