About the role
Joining the Elders Bothwell team as a Support Officer Logistics , you will be joining a close-knit team dedicated to providing livestock, grain, insurance, and rural product support to our local clients. This will be a varied role that will see you provide warehousing & logistics and administration support to the rural products team, including receiving and dispatching stock in a safe manner.

Responsibilities
As a Support Officer Logistics you will:

  • Assist sales staff by picking, packing and coordinating deliveries of orders to clients

  • Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the first point of contact for order deliveries/ pick-ups

  • Perform the storage, handling, receiving and dispatching of stock in a safe and timely manner

  • Ensure good inwards and outwards are processed accurately according to the associated paperwork.

  • Assist with stocktake and other rural products logistics support activities as needed

About you

To succeed in the role of a Support Officer Logistics, you have:

  • A current Forklift License and driver license (MR Heavy Vehicle License desirable)

  • Knowledge of rural products, merchandise storage and handling practices

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work as a team

  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
