Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking a highly motivated individual to work within the Parks and Open Spaces Team as a Sports Turf Trainee.
- Temporary Full-Time (24-month traineeship) – 38 hours per week

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
- Commit to undertaking a Certificate III Sports Turf Management (twenty four month traineeship) and to undertaking a 24 month on the job traineeship
- Demonstrated team work and communication skills.
- The ability to learn the operation of plant equipment in a competent and safe manner.
- Good understanding of safety in the workplace.
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills.
- Relevant experience in the Labouring environment.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task.
- General Construction and Induction Card
- Hold a minimum current Provisional Class C Drivers Licence
- Ability to provide evidence of vaccination/immunisation
