Role Overview:
As Head of Sales, you will be the strategic leader behind the company’s sales initiatives. This role will focus on expanding the brand’s presence in global big-box retailers while driving the success of new product launches with a focus on US market expansion. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious growth targets in both domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a dynamic sales strategy to achieve revenue growth, with a focus on expanding relationships with global big-box retailers.
- New Product Development: Partner with the product development team to launch new products aligned with market trends and customer needs.
- Big-Box Retail Management: Build and manage strong relationships with major global big-box retailers, negotiating deals and driving growth in this channel.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor a talented sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, leveraging relationships with big-box retailers to broaden the brand’s footprint.
- Sales Operations: Oversee sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations to align on product launches and go-to-market strategies.
- Budget Management: Optimize resource allocation and manage the sales budget for maximum ROI.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze sales metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- 8-10 years of sales leadership experience, with a proven track record in big-box retail channels.
- Deep understanding of hard and soft goods market and new product development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
