About the Role
This role is a high-profile opportunity to take ownership of sales strategy and market expansion for battery energy storage and monitoring systems. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and securing high-value contracts across utilities, industrial operators, and energy developers.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for BESS and monitoring solutions.

- Identify and cultivate new opportunities in commercial, industrial, and utility-scale energy markets.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, government agencies, and independent power producers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand evolving energy storage needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic insights and value-driven solutions.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to design and deliver customised solutions.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, market conditions, and customer objectives.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Provide insights to internal teams to shape product development and market positioning.
- Lead the preparation of commercial proposals, tenders, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure financial and operational viability of deals while maintaining competitive positioning.
- Proven success in sales leadership within the renewable energy, battery storage, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of BESS technology, market dynamics, and customer requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at C-level.
- Experience managing long and complex sales cycles in the energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
