About the role:

As a Production Team leader your purpose is to enhance the vocational opportunities of employees through approved work, training and assessment practices which will assist to achieve the commercial outcomes of Endeavour Foundation Industries work sites.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure supported employees are given opportunities to enhance their skills, whilst meeting NDIS requirements and commercial outcomes for the site.
  • Liaise with management to ensure outcomes and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure production meets commercial customer expectations regarding quality, delivery time frames and business requirements.
  • Engage in the manufacturing process ensuring appropriate set up, production and shut down of equipment.
  • Apply quality controls during the manufacturing process to ensure production and quality are in-line with the customer requirements.

About you:

  • Driver's license, Forklift ticket, truck license an advantage.
  • Previous experience as Support Worker in disability or Similar.
  • Blue card & NDIS Screening card or willing to obtain, and Police Check Clearence - or willing to obtain (at own expense)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
  • You will be comfortable operating production machinery and equipment.
  • Experience supervising a large production team.
  • You are a true people person who is patient, empathetic and resilient.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills to help guide employees through their daily tasks and empower them to live their best lives.
  • Physically fit due to the demands of the role.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team.
  • Moderate skills with MS Office applications.
