The Company:This fabulous event supplier is the Australian leader in supplying installations, exhibits and designs in their industry. They've been serving their clients for over 100 years, and are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Account Manager to join their team. This company creates stunning installations and show-stopping event designs.
Position Terms:
- Full-Time Permanent Role
- Working 5 days a week from the office located in the Inner Suburbs
- Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 plus super depending on experience
The Senior Account Manager will report to the Account Director. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships with key decision makers. The Senior Account Manager will work with key, high-profile clients and will manage internal teams to ensure all client installations and events are delivered in a timely manner and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships with key decision makers
- Maximising sales from existing clients via the development of new concepts
- Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities, from lead qualification to delivery
- Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and pipeline of business to reach allocated sales and GP budget
- Acting as the primary client interface for the lifespan of projects, with the ability to troubleshoot and respond in a timely manner
- Scoping clients’ properties & gathering technical information, including site measurements and photos
- Attending site installations/dismantles as required, including some overnight work
- Travelling to meet clients within Australia and New Zealand
- Preparing for and conducting client presentations, including the assembly of quotes/proposals
- Developing sponsorship / brand integration opportunities for projects.
- Developing, maintaining and implementing a thorough understanding of the company’s strategies and objectives
The ideal candidate will have experience working as an Account Manager within the events industry, ideally with experience in installations/exhibitions/events. The candidate will ideally also have sales experience, as well as exceptional client management skills.
- Exceptional communicator (both written and verbal) with very high presentation and sales skills
- Exceptional negotiator with the ability to apply learned sales strategies to effectively close deals
- Experience in managing complex major projects
- Experience in managing multiple client projects simultaneously, with a high attention to detail and excellent time management
- Highly organised with strong planning & administration skills
- High level of IT literacy with the ability to effectively use/learn multiple systems.
- Operate autonomously when required but also function as a team player, sharing information and accepting guidance and direction
- Ability to work collaboratively and supportively with internal teams in order to achieve the best result for clients
- Full driver’s licence required
- Ability to work from the office 5 days a week.
