The team drives the process from design constructability, procurement strategies, proposal development, bid analysis, award, to managing onsite construction work.

A Day in the Life :
Use data and anecdotes to drive internal customers to manage project risks (time, cost, quality, and safety). Communicate effectively, sending clear, concise, and consistent messages. Develop solutions that enable Construction Managers to enforce effective project control with General Contractors and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Construction Managers to implement systems, processes, and templates.
- Identify and create processes to improve efficiency and reduce effort on repetitive tasks.
- Develop and deliver training programs on key knowledge and tools.
- Gather and report data on scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and risk management.
- Develop contract strategies and document supply chain and delivery strategies.
- Work with Procurement to develop measurable General Contractor KPIs.
- Support the APJC Construction Program Lead and work with SMEs and Construction Managers.

Profile
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering science OR 3+ years of related construction management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in project control (cost and schedule) on construction sites.
3+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience (RFPs, bidding, change orders, quality control, RFI/submittal tracking).
4+ years of experience in project management or construction management of mission-critical facilities.

Job Offer
Location: Sydney CBD
Length of Role: 6-Month Engagement
Payrate: Equivalent to $110,000/annum
