To be Successful:
- Certificate III or IV qualification in a relevant field such as Individual Support or Disability, or completion of First Year of Bachelor of Nursing
- Fully Vaccinated (3 x Covid shots, Flu Vaccination, Proof of immunity towards Whooping cough, measles, HepB and chicken pox)
- Full Working rights
- Currently hold or willing to obtain a National Police Check
- 6 months plus paid experience in providing care and support to individuals with a range of needs.
- Current CPR and First Aid (level 2)
- Current Australian Driver's License

Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, ensuring their wellbeing and safety.
- Assist individuals with their medication and attend medical appointments with them as required.
- Promote independence and encourage individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Maintain accurate records and document all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with other professionals involved in the individual's care, including family members and healthcare professionals.
Other Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, compassion, and a positive attitude towards supporting others.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect individuals' privacy.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and willingness to follow company policies and procedures.
