About the Role
As a FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting accounting functions, including balance sheet reconciliations, financial modelling, and cash flow management. You will work closely with a variety of teams, engaging with stakeholders both within and outside of the Finance department to provide valuable business insights and analysis.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Finance Manager in reporting and delivering insights that drive the Guild Insurance business's financial performance.
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Providing valuable insights to leadership teams for effective management of FTE and operating costs.
  • Assisting in the Forecasting and Budgeting processes.
  • Supporting the preparation of Board and Executive Papers.
  • Preparing monthly premium and claims insights.
  • Assisting with the year-end statutory account preparation.

About You
You are an energetic accounting professional with a keen eye for continuous improvement and a passion for supporting your stakeholders. Quick to learn and eager to make an impact, you bring experience in the insurance industry and have a solid background in commercial accounting, spanning both day-to-day tasks and project-based work.

You excel at building professional relationships across the business and possess strong communication skills, enabling you to deliver commercial insights to a wide range of audiences. You are approachable, solution-oriented, and driven by your desire to help others.

You bring:

  • Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling experience.
  • A Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting degree (or equivalent).
  • Ideally, CA/CPA qualification or working towards it.
  • Some experience in financial control or FP&A, particularly in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • A strong analytical mindset with excellent numerical skills.
  • High attention to detail and well-developed problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to established guidelines and procedures.
