Your new role

As a Senior Administrator you will play a critical part in supporting the team with managing and processing member requests, including manual benefit payment processing. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring data accuracy and integrity while providing technical guidance and resolving complex Defined Benefit (DB) Administration issues.

Your success in this role will come from your self-motivation and ability to work independently while maintaining a positive, collaborative and open mindset that will benefit both the team and CSC.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing daily operational tasks, including the calculation and processing of manual benefits, while supporting team members with benefit-related queries
  • Interpreting and applying relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines to ensure accurate information is provided to stakeholders
  • Assisting the Team Leader in mentoring, training, and cross-skilling team members support process improvements and maintaining seamless business operations
  • Monitoring resource allocation and managing work distribution within the team
  • Drafting, reviewing and updating internal procedures and documentation to uphold accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinating system functionality testing, identifying and addressing any errors or issues
  • Ensuring member records are updated following audits and quality assurance processes
  • Serve as an escalation point for complaints and issues, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder satisfaction

Skills And Experiences

What you’ll need to excel

  • 2-3 yrs experience in superannuation with a solid understanding of superannuation processes
  • Highly developed analytical skills with confidence in calculations and spreadsheets
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Skilled at translating complex superannuation data into simple, member friendly language over the phone
  • RG146 qualification is not mandatory but will be considered an advantage
  • Experience in applying and interpreting legislation, regulations or other guidelines
  • Experience updating member records from individual audits and quality assurance processes, including quality assuring other team members
