Talent Focus is seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager for our client overseeing numerous project / construction sites in Macquarie Park and Sydney areas.
About the Role

As the Site Construction Manager, you’ll oversee all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Acting as the designated safety Representative and on-site supervisor, you will play a critical role in coordinating with project teams, managing resources, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Duties include:
  • Supervising daily construction activities, resource allocation, and adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Overseeing construction processes, conduct inspections, and manage defect rectifications to maintain quality standards.
  • Acting as the primary on-site liaison for clients and contractors, providing regular progress and risk updates to the Project Manager.
  • Tracking expenses, ensure budget alignment, prepare forecasts, and coordinate material procurement.
  • Developing contingency plans for delays or challenges.
  • Conducting toolbox meetings and ensure the safe handling of materials and equipment.
About you

You are a proactive and detail-oriented Site Construction Manager with a proven track record in overseeing complex projects. A natural leader, you excel in coordinating teams, managing resources, and delivering projects to high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively balancing multiple priorities while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
You will have:
  • A minimum of 5 years in site management or a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
  • A strong understanding of construction methodologies, WHS regulations, and quality assurance processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and familiarity with interpreting blueprints and specifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • A strong capability in resource allocation, budget management, and meeting project milestones.
  • A construction induction white card and a commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
