Role Overview:
Following the successful completion of a major project and maintenance contract, we are expanding our Fiji team with a Maintenance Works Manager. This role oversees local workers, procurement, and maintenance activities while ensuring quality, WHS&E compliance, and effective client engagement. Regular reporting to the Project Manager supports seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise local workers and manage timesheets.
• Procure daily essentials with Project Manager approval.
• Inspect assets, identify maintenance needs, and track issues until resolved.
• Manage reactive maintenance, coordinate subcontractors, scope works and oversee repairs.
• Ensure work quality and compliance with WHS&E standards.
• Report weekly to the Project Manager and support client meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
• High school diploma or trade qualification.
• Experience in Construction Site Management or Maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across all levels of staff.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
