As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive success in the New Zealand market.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in managing and expanding new and existing relationships within the NZ market. This role is heavily focused on account acquisition and development, working closely with Contractors, Consulting Firms, End Users, and top-tier global accounts in the data centre sector. You will identify new project opportunities, assess client requirements, and position the company’s solutions to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Electrical Contractors, Consultants, and End Users.
- Drive new business opportunities and manage accounts in the data centre market.
- Identify and engage with potential clients to secure new projects.
- Present, negotiate, and influence stakeholders to position the company’s capabilities effectively.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and market opportunities to maximise sales performance.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven business development experience with a strong track record of success.
- Previous experience in Structured Cabling or related field in Data Centre Infrastructure, ICT, Electrical/Electronics, or Power.
- Strong engagement skills with Electrical Contractors, Consultants, and End Users.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to develop long-term client relationships.
- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and business acumen.
The Offer
The successful applicant will receive a highly competitive base salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $120,000 - $130,000 plus $20,000 Car Allowance and a lucrative incentive structure, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself with a leading global organisation!
