Utilise your experience in insurance, healthcare, allied health or injury management with your high levels of empathy to make a difference.We are working with a large government organisation who have an opportunity to join their thriving business, with full training transition into a Trainee Claims Specialist position supporting people in Queensland who have sustained an injury at work, guiding them through the recovery and return to work process.
Please note this is a permanent full-time role based in Brisbane CBD with work from home available after training.
The role
- Assess and manage claims, ensuring accurate and timely resolution
- Support people who have been injured at work and guide all parties (injured worker, employee, etc.) through each stage of the claims process
- Work with internal stakeholders to manage treatment approvals, return to work and injury management plans
- Manage weekly payments and provider invoices
- To be successful in this role you should ideally bring a background in claims management, medical admin, or allied health
- Open to candidates with general insurance expertise
- You have a genuine, caring nature that puts customers at the heart of what you do, showing empathy in all circumstances
- You are an organised person who demonstrates strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + super + discounts & benefits
