We are currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated male support worker to join our dynamic team supporting a male participant transitioning into Supported Independent Living (SIL) on the Sunshine Coast.
• Shift Available: Every second Friday night (10PM-6AM)
• Additional fill-in shifts available
• Night Duty Rate: $46.77/hr
The participant enjoys karate, boxing, bonsai, and art and is working towards greater independence and starting a bonsai business.
What We’re Looking For:
• Male support workers with a calm, proactive, and culturally sensitive approach
• Experience/interest in ABI, Autism, ADHD, or mental health support
• Ability to follow structured support plans and work collaboratively
• Preference | Cert III Individual Support (or equivalent) & required clearances
Qualifications and Skills
• Cert 3 Individual Support or equivalent and/or minimum 1 year experience supporting clients with Psychosocial disabilities and/or complex behaviours is highly desirable
• Valid Drivers licence essential
• Current Paid employee Blue Card
• Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance
• Current First Aid & CPR
• NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
• Full Australian working rights
• Smart phone with internet access
• Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
