Position Overview
The Contract and Performance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Contract and Performance Manager to provide assurance that Fulham Correctional Centre is operated and managed in accordance with the terms of the contract with the State and the requirements of all relevant legislation, policies and standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess a blend of educational qualifications and practical experience in governance, risk and compliances.
- Diploma of Quality Auditing (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001
- Demonstrated management experience in the area of contract and project management that included a governance, risk and compliance assurance focus
- Recognised as, or have the ability to rapidly acquire recognition as, a qualified internal auditor of quality systems and conduct compliance assessments against contractual and legislative requirements
- Knowledge of or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of procedures and issues as related to a correctional environment
- High level attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills (including analytical, conceptual, problem solving, negotiation, sound judgment and change management)
- Proven ability to plan, establish priorities and work objectives
- Ability to identify and analyse legal issues and contribute to the development of legally and commercially sound solutions
This role requires a commitment to fostering positive relationships with relevant staff, and external stakeholders to support high quality services and professional practice. A satisfactory security and police clearance will be necessary for this position.
