We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Teacher of Engineering to join our community in Term 2, 2025 to cover a parental leave contract for Term 2 and Term 3.
Teacher of Humanities, History and Religious Education
Fixed Term Full Time Contract
22 April -19 September 2025
The successful applicant will have the qualifications and ability to teach students in Year 7 and 8 Humanities and Year 9 History, as well as Religious Education. The successful candidate should possess an excellent knowledge of the current directions in the teaching of the subject area, have a strong academic background and a thorough understanding of the Australian Curriculum. Experience in teaching in an all-girls’ environment is an advantage, but not essential. Our RE syllabus is designed to implement the Anglican Schools Commission Shared Syllabus “encouraging the development of religious knowledge, and to embolden students to explore the application of this knowledge to their individual lives” (ASC, 2021)
The successful applicant must hold Queensland College of Teachers registration and be willing to have their name submitted to the Anglican Church’s Professional Standards Register.
