Duties

The Senior Executive Officer coordinates and provides high level executive support, business and resource management and project support to the Associate Secretary. The core objectives of the role are to:
• Optimise time management, productivity and efficient outcomes for the Associate Secretary through provision of high-quality oversight and effective management of the Associate Secretary’s diary, meeting preparation, email and correspondence, including triaging of requests and issues.
• Operate within the political and organisational environment of the department, and in accordance with the established policies and procedures, and exercise judgment and discretion in relation to sensitive matters.
• Provide high level liaison for timely and accurate flow of information and productive relationships between the Office of the Associate Secretary and stakeholders, ensuring professional and quality standards are maintained.

Period of Appointment

ASAP until 30 June 2025
