At Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL), we are seeking a passionate Recruitment Coordinator to join our dedicated P&C Operations team.
Location: Fitzroy and Frankston office locations
Job Type: Maximum Term Full-Time role working 38 hours per week until 14th November 2025

About the role
The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment for BSL’s Aged Care division. This role will provide high quality support and advice on various recruitment processes, from attraction and selection through to onboarding and conducting pre-employment and qualification checks.

Oversee and contribute to the end-to-end recruitment support provided to managers across the Aged Care portfolio.

Provide a consistent and timely response to queries related to recruitment, employment terms and conditions, pre-employment checks and onboarding for roles across Aged Care.

Conduct various administrative recruitment tasks such as assisting managers with developing position descriptions, scheduling interviews, shortlisting candidates, issuing employment contracts, and conducting reference and pre-employment checks.

Develop and implement an overall Aged Care recruitment strategy in line with BSL’s overall recruitment policy and procedure. Including targeted recruitment strategies to increase visibility of Aged Care roles in the broader community.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:

Demonstrated experience in all aspects of end-to-end recruitment.

Comprehensive understanding of HR/Recruitment Policies and procedures with demonstrated knowledge of National Employment Standards and legislative requirements relating to recruitment.

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and liaise across all levels both internally, externally and with people from diverse backgrounds.

Ability to identify and resolve problems and make appropriate recommendations.
