The Opportunity

Reporting to the Supervisor – Planned Maintenance SA, you will be responsible for performing a vital role in monitoring and maintaining required and expected service levels to meet customer’s expectations and OH&S and legislative code requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair, testing and calibration of all equipment associated with gas metering

  • Operate and maintain all relevant equipment in a safe and efficient manner

  • Set, control and maintain required gas pressures for the Pipeline and associated Networks

  • Provide quality products and services to ensure all consumers are supported in an efficient and effective manner

Your background

  • Strong experience in a mechanical type trade field

  • Good written and verbal communication as well as the ability follow instructions

  • Ability to read and interpret maps and plans, technical drawings and manufacturers specifications

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Networks Team
Networks manages and operates local distribution networks and transmission pipelines that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia.


This is an exciting time for the Networks team, we are growing and expanding with many new projects, including 2032 Olympics. Also, we have a strong culture of continuous improvement and working towards Net Zero with the introduction of renewable green gas into the Gas Networks.
