Description:
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates to provide causal Facility Assistance at the Broome Civic Centre.
Taking direction from the Civic Centre Coordinator, you will be responsible for representing the venue in a professional manner, ensuring a high level of presentation is displayed at the centre at all times.
Most of our events occur in the evening so you will need to be available to work primarily in the evenings and weekends. You will have an ability to advise your preferred shifts as they become available .
Facility Assistant – Level 3 ($43.60 – $46.94 per hour) plus allowances and penalties.
- Works autonomously;
- Provides supervision;
- Hospitality - Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) (certification & experience required);
- Ushering;
- Cash handling-kiosk and box office sales; and
- Setting up and packing away events and hires.
In addition to the requirements appropriate to the level, to be considered you will need to display the following:
- High quality customer service;
- An ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent physical fitness;
- Excellent time management and organisational skills; and
- Professional presentation.
